Blessed to have no shoes

“I had no shoes and complained, until I met a man who had no feet.” ~Indian Proverb

Sometimes we look at what we have, and get frustrated by “politics” and “pettiness.”  Sometimes we lose perspective on the treasures we have.

Did you wake up this morning? Being alive is a blessing.

Did you see your loved ones today?  Having people who love you is a blessing.

Did you eat breakfast, or at least have food available to eat?  Having food to eat is a blessing.

Did you put on clothes today?  Having clothes on your back is a blessing.

Did you go to work today?  Having a job and getting paid for it is a blessing.

I could go on and on…You get the point.  Each day is a blessing, filled with mini-blessings along the way.  Don’t take them for granted!
