Take time to look at yourself today and decide how you
define yourself. If you don’t take the
time to define who you are, others will take care of that very important task
for you. Words only have power if you
give them permission to have power.
Remember that you are the gatekeeper who decides whether something is
going to bother you or affect you.
Let’s work together to choose to be the gatekeepers of what
we see and hear. Let’s work together to
make sure that we don’t empower hurtful words and make them true, simply
because other people say so. We are the
ultimate judge of who we are and what we are, and let’s choose to tell
ourselves that we are valuable and important.
It’s not a lie! We are important
and valuable!
