Why do you do what you do?

If you could liken the “fire” or “passion” within you when you are doing the tasks of your work day to a fire, does your flame of passion and determination resemble a typical fire that waxes and wanes, flickering and crackling, or does it resemble a finely-tuned blow torch that is very specific and burns extremely hot? 

Is your flame of determination focused
and precise like a blow torch?

Why do you do what you do?  Do you do your daily tasks because it’s expected of you, or do you have that burning desire to support the mission of your workplace in providing great service and exceptional results?  Do you try, in everything you do, to leave your customers in a better place than where they had started?

If your flame of determination is anything less than a blowtorch, ask yourself why are you doing what you do?  Do you love what you do, but let other things get to you or influence you?  Do you let negativity and pessimism taint your flame and cause it to flicker?

Let’s work today to turn our flames of determination into a blowtorch, and feel that passion and desire flow through your body.  Let’s take that energy and excitement and let it positively influence every aspect of our work today!
